Why am I getting an error message?
If you're getting an error message, there could be a few reasons. First off, ensure that your file is saved as a CSV format. It's also important to double-check that there are no extra columns lurking around, there are no symbols in the file ($, -, * etc), and that all the data neatly fits within the designated columns.
If you've done all that and you're still facing hurdles, don't worry! Just shoot a message over to help@ship.com with the file you're trying to upload. Our friendly support team will be more than happy to give you a hand and guide you through the process. We're committed to making sure you have a smooth experience every step of the way!
How do I upload the CSV file?
To upload your CSV file for shipping, let's head over to the Ship/Orders page – you'll find it on the left-hand side of your navigation bar. Once you're there, keep an eye out for a button labeled "Upload CSV" or "Sync." If you only see "Sync," no worries! Just click on the little arrow pointing downwards, and you'll uncover the option to upload your CSV.
Once you've located the "Upload CSV" button, go ahead and give it a click. From here, you can pick the correct file from your computer and upload it. If your file is on the larger side, it might take up to five minutes for all the orders to load. But don't fret, most orders should pop up in less than a minute.
