What if Something Happens to My USPS Package?
A claim can be filed with USPS if the package was lost, damaged, or had broken or missing pieces and it was covered by USPS insurance. If the package is lost, try locating it using the USPS Missing Mail and Lost Package website first.
To file a claim with USPS, please follow the steps on their website:
https://www.usps.com/help/claims.htm
NOTE: For damaged or missing contents, USPS recommends filing a claim immediately, but you must file no later than 60 days from the date of mailing.
