What kind of printer can I use?
We support the use of both thermal printers and normal inkjet/desktop printers for Ship.com. We do not recommend any particular brand, but feel free to let us know if you have a favorite!
What type of labels should I use?
We do not recommend a specific brand of labels, but there are specific sizes of labels to use with our system. If you are using a thermal printer you can use either “4x6" or "2-5/16x4" sized labels. For normal inkjet/desktop printers you can only use labels that print two to a page, on a normal 8.5 x 11 in. sheet.
How do I set my printer up with my account?
You can easily set up your printer when you purchase your first label. From the Purchase Shipping Label modal you will use the drop-down at the top of the box to select Normal - Half Page, Thermal - Wide, or Thermal - Skinny.
Printing Questions
How do I reprint a shipping label? Will I be charged again?
You can reprint a shipping label at any time by using the three dot menu to the right of the order and selecting "Re-print Shipping Label”. You will not be charged again, you are allowed to print the label as many times as you need, and will only be charged once.
How do I fix the shipping address after I print the label?
You can fix any errors on a label by using the 3 dot menu to the right of the order and selecting “Recreate Shipping Label.” This can be used to fix errors in the address, format, or postage type.
How do I print a SCAN Form/Manifest?
You can print a Scan Form/Manifest by clicking on “Print” located under your Shipping Balance button. You’ll then choose the option “USPS Shipping Manifest”. All eligible labels purchased will be included on the manifest.
How do I print a pack slip for my order?
There are several easy ways to print a pack slip for your orders. You can use “Print” under Shipping Balance and select “Print Pack Slip”. You can also print a pack slip for any order by using the three dot menu to the right of the order and selecting “Print Pack Slip”. If you are needing to print multiple pack slips at one time you can also utilize our batch printing feature.
How do I batch print my labels?
There are two easy ways to print multiple labels from one pdf. You can use “Print” under Shipping Balance and select “Print Batch”. You can also batch print by clicking on “Print Batch” on any order that has already had postage purchased.
Why does my shipping label print super tiny on my DYMO Twin Turbo?
To fix this issue, you need to change the Paper Size for your Dymo when you print. You can choose your Paper Size from the print preview menu that appears after you click to print the label. The paper size will need to be set to "30256 Shipping".
